PROJECT
albert ROAD
This lovely young couple in Leyton wanted a space designed for their toddler to explore nature and the outdoors.
A wildflower turf was laid, bringing diversity in the city whilst allowing for a lawn that could be explored by the toddler.
Planting reflected the south west coast with palms and grasses alongside purple and yellow flowering plants.

An area of crazy paving was installed and a london stock-brick patio at the very back of the garden, reflecting the yellow stock brick of the building facade.

The major problem to overcome on this site was the access; a flight of stairs through to the first floor flat, and then a narrow flight of steps down into the garden. A large tree stump also required removing for the patio installation. The next big issue was how to get the large tree stump out of the garden as it was huge and would not fit through the door threshold! Our heros; Jimmy, Can and Tony split it into three pieces, and skillfully carried it up the awkward stairwells and out through the house.

Quick sketch proposals was prepared by Rachel to indicate the clients vision for the space and provide a scheme from which the quote was prepared. The client was happy with the proposals, chose the paving and RenewEL completed the scheme on time and in budget.

"Everyone worked so hard; I know those stairs were probably the hardest part!!
I especially wanted to acknowledge Can for his dedication and hard work as he kept the project moving. All your team, Jimmy and Tony included, were so kind, knowledgeable, and easy to work with."
