PROJECT

JEBB STREET

The team had been working in this part of Bow for a while and had undertaken both landscaping and maintenance projects on the street.  We had tackled some pretty aggressive bamboo in one neighbouring garden, removing it from the backyard returning the garden to the use of its owners, making it less like an East Asian forest more suitable for pandas, into a place where the residents could enjoy a summer of picnics and barbecues. We had also replaced some fences and built a patio and some decking at another house in the road.

We were approached by a neighbour in desperate need to transform their back garden into a space that they could enjoy with their young family.  The project was ambitious in nature and required several aspects of hard landscaping, including laying-out an area of patio, erecting trellises, creating an artificial lawn, installing drainage, building a number of raised planters and demolishing and replacing an old shed. We also installed an exotic planting scheme. We were really pleased with the outcome of this project as the final garden was contemporary, attractive, and practical for the family.

“We’ve used RenewEL to landscape and maintain our garden, and install stone paving to replace old decking. Rachel does a great job of managing a small, reliable and dedicated team. We’ve been pleased with their work and enjoy their company when onsite.”
