The client had her garden designed and installed by another landscape team over 10 years ago. She was happy with the structure of the garden, however, felt the lawn in the centre of the garden; was not being used and wanted this paved with raised planter edges to frame the space and provide a central feature dining area in the centre of the garden.

 

RenewEL were able to provide a sketch plan for the proposal and installed the garden in Autumn 2022. Delta blue-brown clay pavers were installed in a herringbone pattern to give a modern urban feel to the garden; raised timber planters were installed and painted grey to continue the modern urban theme.

 

Planting proposals were prepared by Rachel our Creative Director, based on simple maintenance regime for the client including grasses Pennisetum alopecuroides ‘Hameln’, Carex ‘Blue Spire’, and Lavandula to create fragrant borders.
